As all other Londoners, I woke up with a pretty heavy heart today. I’m never very good at knowing how to deal with (or know what to say!) when such horrible events such as these happen, so I’ve been just trying to go about my day as I normally would. This is my way of coping – you might have different ways, and that’s ok too. I was debating whether to put this post up or not, but in the end decided to do it – I hope I can offer at least a few minutes of distraction by sharing these pictures I took on one of the happiest days of last month, when I became a godmother to the loveliest little girl.
Last Friday I traveled home to Finland to take part in the celebrations, and had such a lovely few days that were such a great distraction from my everyday life. I got to see a lot of friends I haven’t seen in a very long time, and of course, to meet the tiny little lady herself too (who got the beautiful name Taika, meaning magic in Finnish). I managed to take quite a few photos which will make such lovely memories, which makes me very happy. Here’s a few of my favourites:
